Here’s a recipe for Honey Lavender Mousse serving 4:

Ingredients:

  • 200g heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • 3 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin powder
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Optional: fresh lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat.
  2. Add the dried culinary lavender to the warm cream and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the cream to infuse with the lavender flavor. Strain out the lavender and discard.
  3. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over the water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  4. In a separate saucepan, warm the honey over low heat until it becomes liquid. Do not boil.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved.
  6. Gradually pour the honey mixture into the lavender-infused cream, stirring continuously until well combined.
  7. Divide the mixture evenly among 4 serving glasses or bowls.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  9. Optional: Before serving, garnish each mousse with a fresh lavender sprig for an elegant touch and added aroma.

Enjoy your fragrant and delicate Honey Lavender Mousse!
