Here’s a simple recipe for Paneer Pakoras:

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (as needed to make a thick batter)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually to the mixture to form a thick, smooth batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  4. Dip each paneer cube into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated.
  5. Carefully drop the coated paneer into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the paneer pakoras with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with mint chutney or sauce.
