Here’s a simple recipe for tuna tacos:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Toppings: shredded cabbage, sliced radishes, avocado, cilantro

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the tuna into bite-sized pieces and marinate it in the mixture for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add a bit of oil and sear the marinated tuna for 1-2 minutes on each side, or to your preferred level of doneness.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
