Strawberry Sauce Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 250 grams fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
- 50 grams granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
- Slice the strawberries into small pieces.
- In a saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Cook over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens (about 10-15 minutes).
- Taste and adjust the sugar if needed.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Use a blender or immersion blender to blend the sauce to your desired consistency.
- Strain the sauce through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds (optional).
- Allow the strawberry sauce to cool completely before storing it in a jar or container.
- Refrigerate and use within a week.
