Here’s a simple recipe for garlic cream sauce:
Ingredients:
- 50g butter
- 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, but be careful not to brown it.
- Sprinkle the flour over the melted butter and garlic, stirring constantly to create a roux. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until it’s a light golden color.
- Slowly whisk in the heavy cream, making sure to eliminate any lumps.
- Continue stirring until the mixture thickens, usually within 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add grated Parmesan cheese at this point if desired.
- Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency, remove it from heat.
