Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the capers to the melted butter and sauté for a minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and whisk until well combined.
  4. Stir in the Dijon mustard and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency, remove from heat.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
