Here’s a simple recipe for homemade beetroot chips:

Ingredients:

  • 2 large beetroots, washed and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: Seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or rosemary for added flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using a mandoline or a sharp knife, thinly slice the beetroots. Thinner slices will result in crispier chips.
  3. In a bowl, toss the beet slices with olive oil until evenly coated. Add salt and any optional seasonings, and toss again.
  4. Arrange the beet slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through, until the chips are crisp but not burnt.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
