Pani puri dough and it’s water recipe
Pani Puri Dough Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup semolina (sooji)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
- A pinch of baking soda
- Water (as needed)
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix semolina, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth, stiff dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into puris.
Pani (Water) Recipes:
- Minty Tamarind Pani:
- 1 cup mint leaves
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves
- 1 green chili
- 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Blend all ingredients, strain, and dilute with water.
- Spicy Masala Pani:
- 1 tbsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp black salt
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1 lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Mix all ingredients and dilute with water.
- Sweet Date Tamarind Pani:
- 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
- 1/4 cup date paste
- 2 tbsp jaggery
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Blend tamarind, date paste, jaggery, and cumin. Strain and dilute.
- Fruity Pani:
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- Mix all juices, add black salt, chaat masala, and salt. Dilute with water.
