Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Stir until the dough starts to come together, then turn it out onto a floured surface.
  4. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Add more flour if needed to prevent sticking.

  6. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
