Here’s a simple recipe for homemade sweet potato chips:

Ingredients:

  • Sweet potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes.
  3. Slice the sweet potatoes thinly and evenly using a knife or a mandolin.
  4. In a bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, ensuring they are coated evenly.
  5. Arrange the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the slices according to your taste.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are crisp and golden brown.
  8. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning; cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the slices.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
