Coconut puree recipe

Here’s a simple recipe for coconut puree:

Ingredients:

  • 200g shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 300ml hot water

Instructions:

  1. Place the shredded coconut in a blender.
  2. Heat the water until it’s hot but not boiling.
  3. Pour the hot water over the shredded coconut in the blender.
  4. Let it sit for a couple of minutes to soften the coconut.
  5. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  6. If needed, you can strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any remaining coconut pieces.
  7. Store the coconut puree in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
