Coconut puree recipe
Here’s a simple recipe for coconut puree:
Ingredients:
- 200g shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- 300ml hot water
Instructions:
- Place the shredded coconut in a blender.
- Heat the water until it’s hot but not boiling.
- Pour the hot water over the shredded coconut in the blender.
- Let it sit for a couple of minutes to soften the coconut.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
- If needed, you can strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any remaining coconut pieces.
- Store the coconut puree in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
