Strawberry Sauce Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 50 grams granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Slice the strawberries into small pieces.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  3. Cook over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens (about 10-15 minutes).
  4. Taste and adjust the sugar if needed.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  6. Use a blender or immersion blender to blend the sauce to your desired consistency.
  7. Strain the sauce through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds (optional).
  8. Allow the strawberry sauce to cool completely before storing it in a jar or container.
  9. Refrigerate and use within a week.
